BASF Kaolin price increase announced
CHARLOTTE, NC, December 15, 2017 – Effective immediately, or as contracts allow, BASF will increase kaolin prices globally by up to 7 percent, valid for all industrial applications, calcined kaolin for paper applications and hydrous kaolin products for thermal paper applications. The amount of the increase will be dependent on the product. These increases are necessary for business sustainability in the face of rising costs and increasing demand.
