Middle Georgia

  • In 1908, kaolin operations began in McIntyre, Georgia and have grown over the years to yield Kaolin's 4 plants and numerous mines. These sites lie in the middle of the state and the region is commonly referred to as Middle Georgia or MidGA. Our Daveyville, Edgar Gordon and Toddville operations sites along with our Dixie and Washington County mines employ hundreds of people.
  •

  • Kaolin's extensive operations encompass the full range of the kaolin processing value chain, from exploration of ore deposits through packaging and distribution of the end product.
  •

  • Our reserves are carefully managed to optimally utilize our crudes and manufacture the highest quality finished products.
