ASP® 170 Extender In Colored Water-Reducible Industrial Enamels

ASP® 072

Premium brightness spray dried kaolin

ASP® 072 kaolin provides high gloss without loss of opacity in gloss and semi-gloss water-borne coatings. ASP® 072 provides excellent optical properties for titanium dioxide extension in rubber and plastic compounds.

Water-borne gloss and semi-gloss coatings, mechanical rubber goods, printing rollers, tire white sidewalls, TPE / TPO.

Standard brightness hydrous pulverized kaolin

ASP® 600 is a good extender when used in primers. ASP® 600 kaolin is highly recommended for polyester pultrusion profiles and is generally used in solvent-borne adhesives and rubber compounds where color is not of primary importance.

Standard brightness hydrous pulverized kaolin

ASP® 900 kaolin is desinged for use in textile coatings. Its platy structure provides some degree of barrier properties to the coatings. It is also recommended for use in water-borne adhesives.

High gloss spray dried kaolin

ASP® G92 Kaolin is specially engineered to provide high gloss development without negatively impacting binder demand. The product provides ease of dispersion, high Hegman grind and titanium dioxide extension in water-borne paints and coatings only and is available in spray dried bead form for easier handling and less dusting.

ASP® 200 kaolin is recommended for use in solvent-borne and water-borne primers and topcoats, as well as for use in industrial, coil, appliance and various undercoats. It is also widely used in electro-deposition paints.

ASP® 400P

Standard brightness hydrous pulverized kaolin

ASP® 400P kaolin is our coarsest particle size grade providing a higher aspect ratio compared to our other ASP® grades. ASP® 400P kaolin is widely used in industrial and architectural primers as it improves enamel holdout and allows for higher loading in paints. ASP® 400P is designed for use in stains and glass-reinforced thermoset systems.

 

TYPICAL APPLICATIONS:

Water-borne and solvent-borne exterior flats and primers, BMC / SMC, pultrusion profiles.
